Taking just one step, not PERFECTLY, and that’s ok! And why the word perfect has a different meaning…
Today I woke up early like most days. It was about 4:40am… Something like that… And I took my time. I said a little prayer, I got up and started to think about my day…
I wrote my gratitude, wins, goals, and tasks for today which takes me about 2 min and 30 seconds (super fast!)...
Then I went into work and completed an email newsletter for a client that needed to get done today. It wasn’t even 6:00 am and I’m already feeling productive. I thrive on productivity and thrive on accomplishing things, even if they’re small things.
Then the kids got up and even though it wasn’t a perfect morning, it ended amazing by taking them to school and going straight for a run…
When I was running I was just thinking that today was perfect! Every day is perfect. I could have dwelled on the fact that the kids weren’t happy when they woke up, or that one of my friends cancelled to go running with me, but for some reason, when you just let go and let life just happen, things just happen…
I’m usually the one who tries so hard to make sure everything is perfect, but it doesn’t have to be like that, it just has to FEEL perfect!
Enjoy your day and make today perfect for you!
