The More You Know, The More You Realize You Don’t Know, or Do You Know?

Do you think there’s always room for improvement or are you set in your ways and think you’re the expert??? At least for me, when it comes to marketing and writing, there is so much to learn!!

The truth is that just like Aristotle said, “The more you know, the more you realize you don't know.”

It’s true! You can get better at anything you want, but it will never be enough because things are always changing, we are changing,  and there’s a river of knowledge that will never end.

If you stick with one thing long enough, that means you’re doing it right on some level, no?

So how do you get good at marketing and copywriting? Here are a few things I can think of:

✅ Reading books - tons of amazing books like Great Leads, Pre-Suasion, Influence, The Adweek Copywriting Handbook, and so many others!

✅ Courses - just make sure you actually stick with it and don't overbuy so many! Implement what you learn!

✅ But there is one main way that will get you there faster than anything else: PRACTICE.

Just like if you wanted to be a great athlete (I can totally relate with soccer), but even a musician, singer, dancer--you have to practice EVERY DAY.

That’s the only way you get better at anything in life! Not just marketing and copywriting either 🙂

So what do I mean by “practice?”

Write every day, test headlines, test selling products, work with people who need help.

That's the best advice that my mentor gave me and I write as much as I can! That's the only way to have practical knowledge and to implement!
