Saying Good Bye To a Client

I said goodbye to a client… Not because of anything negative, it was just time for her to move on… It’s part of life, right?

As an email copywriter who used to create websites for others, seeing my clients achieve their goals is one of the most fulfilling parts of my job.

Recently, I had the pleasure of working with a client who had reached their objectives and was ready to move on, and it was a bittersweet moment for me. They were just happy with how their business was going, so it was time to part ways.

From the moment we started working together, I could see their vision and was motivated to help them achieve their goals. She was instrumental in how I shaped my business during the pandemic and I’m so grateful for her.

While it was tough to say goodbye, it was also a moment of gratification. Knowing that I had played a crucial role in helping her achieve her vision was a significant accomplishment for me.

But you know what, this is a happy post to remind you that when you work with a client who reaches their goals and is happy for you, it's a testament to the hard work and dedication of both of you.

It's an emotional experience to part ways, but it's also a moment of satisfaction to see them take the reins and continue to grow on their own. We’re still friends and we’ll continue to cheer each other on, so it’s a happy time!

I’ll miss our bi-weekly meetings, that’s for sure! But I’m also excited to open up to more clients and help more people!

Have you ever experienced a hard good-bye with a client? I love how emotionally attached we can get to them, but it makes it hard when we move on…
